Personal Email Gateway (WEB/WAP)
The Email Gateway is a convenient utility that allows users to retrieve
emails from his/her favourite email accounts using a WAP-enabled mobile
device or any web-browser. The functions of the email application
are Read, Compose, Reply, Reply All, and Delete emails in their mailbox
from anywhere, at anytime using the WEB, or WAP-enabled hand phones
or PDAs. The Email Gateway currently supports SMTP for sending, and
POP3 for retrieving emails from the users chosen mailbox.

Personal Contacts (WEB/WAP)
The Contacts module enables a user to store all his/her personal and
business contacts on mPortal™ server. It is a wireless phone
book with massive storage capacity. The PIMS system administrator
has privileges to control the storage capacity for each user. This
application allows the users to retrieve, create, edit, delete, and
search for contact fields. Direct dialling via WTAI when using WAP
mobile phone is also possible. Users can also share their contacts
with other PIMS users.
Share functionality: If the user knows the MSISDN number of another
mPortal™ PIMS user he can share his contacts with that PIMS
user. Whenever the PIMS user views his Contacts list under the shared
folder he can view all the contacts shared with others. He can choose
to reject the contact information or add them to his personal contact
list.

Personal Calendar (WEB/WAP/EMAIL/SMS)
The Calendar is a tireless virtual secretary that works 24-hours a
day and seven days a week. It allows a user to schedule, plan and
organise functions, appointments, meetings and special events like
birthdays and anniversaries. A user can view, insert, edit, or delete
any appointment using the WEB and/or a WAP device. The user can set
SMS and/or e-mail alerts for his appointments for himself and on behalf
of the attendees and can also define the time to be alerted.

Personal Tasks (WEB/WAP/SMS)
The task product provides compatible functionality and features to
the Microsoft Outlook® To Do List with added features like WAP
wireless access and SMS alerts to the mobile phone.

AirSync
The AirSync module enables a user to auto-synchronise his contacts,
tasks and appointments with his Microsoft Outlook® on his laptop
or desktop PC, To Do List and Calendar just by turning on his computer
and updating the Calendar and Tasks entries on his PC. The AirSync
plug-in is downloadable from the mPortal™ website.
